Bar, Catering & Entertainment
Our fully stocked bar is in a separate room across the entrance hall from the main dining room where guests can meet for a drink before, during or after the function. Our aim is that you should not pay more for drinks than you would in an average Pub, which you should find to be considerably less than those experienced in a Hotel.
In addition to offering a full selection of Wines we offer a corkage service that varies between £3 to £5 per bottle depending on quantity. We also have the facility to store and chill Wines & Champagne allowing these to be delivered to Alderson house well ahead of the actual function.
As well as holding a licence for the sale of alcohol we also hold an entertainments licence allowing you to arrange for music or a live band.
Food catering
Within the premises we have our own catering and Kitchen facilities capable of organising virtually any food menu you require. Professional service is of course included enabling you and your guests' total freedom to enjoy the event.
You will find all pricing to be clear, transparent and highly competitive. Our dedicated catering team will discuss your needs with you and agree pricing at an early stage while allowing you flexibility to cope with unforeseen circumstances
Licensing conditions
Copies of our Alcohol and Entertainment licences can be downloaded from the links below. You will find these reasonably standard and typical of most venues. We would ask that you read the specific conditions and discuss your requirements with us before booking, particularly if there are specific items that you require such as start & finish times.
We can arrange for specific individual extensions outside of our normal conditions should you wish and subject to the necessary granting of approvals.
Our services include:

- Separate Bar area open before, during and after your event

- Bar & wine as much less than normal Hotel prices
- £3 - £5 corkage charge if you wish to bring your own table wine or Champagne (storage & cooling facilities available)
- No additional charge if you wish to organise for music or a live band (within the terms of our entertainments licence)
